Planned gallery closures
When planning your visit please be aware of the following upcoming closures at the Laing
Exhibition changeover
Galleries A & B will be closed from 16 January - 16 February for the installation of the Bomberg exhibition.
Gallery C and the Watercolour Gallery will be closed from 16 January - 9 February for the installation of the Sean Scully: 1970 exhibition.
The 18th & 19th century Gallery & Northern Spirit galleries will be open as usual.
Under 5s area
The under 5s area is currently closed and we hope to reopen it mid-February. We are redeveloping this space to improve it for our youngest visitors and their families/carers. We will announce the reopening date of the space soon on our website and social media, so please do check before visiting.
Little Artists sessions will be held in a different area of the gallery.
