Laing Art Gallery function corporate hire

The gallery boasts a range of stunning spaces for hire, including the grand Marble Hall and elegant Collection Display Gallery. The Laing offers an exclusive location for dinners, drinks receptions and private viewings. There is also a fully equipped function room for up to 60 delegates set in the heart of the gallery, within easy reach of the Laing’s permanent collections and special exhibitions. The Laing Art Gallery is a Grade II listed Edwardian building, situated in a prime city centre location close to transport links and a variety of accommodation. 

Maximum capacities: Theatre 60, Boardroom 20, Dining 80, Reception 550. 

Special daytime offer

The self-contained Function Room can now be hired from 9:30am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday for only £100 +VAT. For all other hire times and prices, please get in touch. 

We have the following equipment available in our function room:

  • Projector and screen
  • Flipcharts, pads and pens
  • Lectern with mic and pa system
  • Laptop
