The Laing Art Gallery is offering 2 for the price of 1 on tickets for their exhibition The Arts & Crafts House: Then and Now for the last few weeks until the exhibition closes on 31 January 2016.
The exhibition traces the origin and legacy of the Arts & Crafts Movement and includes work by William Morris, Ernest Gimson, Edwin Lutyens and Gertrude Jekyll. The show also highlights aspects of the Arts & Crafts houses in the North East and features objects from National Trust properties Wallington and Cragside. It also explores how the movement continues to influence contemporary designers today. Exhibition organised by Compton Verney.

10 of the finest drawings by Leonardo da Vinci in the Royal Collection will travel to the Laing Art Gallery to be shown in this new exhibition. The works have been selected to show the extraordinary scope of the artist's interests, from painting and sculpture to engineering, zoology, botany, mapmaking and anatomy, as well as his use of different media – pen and ink, red and black chalks, watercolour and metalpoint.
